Develop your writing skills with award-winning playwright Emily Sheehan.
Over three hours, participants will work through practical activities to explore elements of playwriting including; character, story, dialogue, and world building. The aim is that everyone taking part will gain confidence in their writing, explore new approaches and benefit from being among other writers in a supportive environment. It will be a supportive and encouraging environment, no previous experience in playwriting is needed.

Emily Sheehan is an award-winning playwright and theatre-maker. Her first play Hell's Canyon won the Rodney Seaborn Playwrights Award, was shortlisted for the Patrick White Playwrights Award, and was a showcased play in Playwriting Australia’s 2016 National Play Festival at The Malthouse Theatre.
